the BIG, BIG news! (and 1/23)

I've been putting off writing this post for weeks. Actually, scratch that, months. You're all well, well aware that things have been in transition here on Undergrad Fab for quite some time, and I've been pretty vague about what it meant. At first, I couldn't decide: should I stop blogging (spoiler alert: that's not the option I chose :)) should I completely re-brand my current blog, or should I leave it as-is and move somewhere else to start fresh? Ultimately, it came down to this: writing Undergrad Fab has been such a wonderful experience for me for the past few years, and I wanted to leave it as is-- a capsule of my undergrad experience, a testament to the growth and change that accompanied my college years. So here it will stay, untouched, a little corner of the internet that has meant so much to me over the past few years.

Of course, that doesn't mean I'm leaving for good! There were times this past winter where I was so unsure of where to go next, but it all fell into place exactly the way it was supposed to. If there's anything I've realized since then it's that blogging is so much more than just a hobby for me-- I've met some incredible people, it's become a part of who I am, and as a result of that, I've grown more than I ever could have imagined. So I'd like to welcome you to my shiny, new, permanent, blogging home, babble + bloom. This isn't a 'brand-new-start-all-over' kind of change for me, but rather, it's a chance to grow. To let my blog be brighter, sweeter, happier, more colorful, more me :)

I know it's risky, I know it's big-- but it's what feels right. Saying goodbye to Undergrad Fab is bittersweet-- it has become a part of me, as silly as that may sound-- but it's with only excitement that I move forward to new things :) I so hope you'll move with me and help me start this new chapter. And appropriately, cross off the first (and perhaps one of the most important!) things on my 23 before 23 list. To that, and to this journey ahead, I say: WAHOO! :)
